This wine came about when tasting in the cellar with an old friend/customer. He asked why my family had never produced a Cabernet Shiraz blend from our Murrindindi fruit. I could not come up with a logical answer - so, when it was time to bottle the Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz wines, we went through and selected the best barrel of each and put them together. This created something special - full of dark berry, chocolate and spice. There were only two barrels so a limit of 24 bottles per customer (while in stock).
